Shinx Corporation: Bringing cutting-edge quality and industry expertise to ASEAN markets

In the metal cutting and milling industry, precision and quality are everything.

The world has become increasingly dependent on automation across industries, beginning at the most basic level: manufacturing. As such, it is vital that all processes and equipment run smoothly and seamlessly— and this begins by ensuring the caliber and condition of every part.

Shinx Corporation Co., Ltd., Japan’s first movers in the non-ferrous metal cutting and milling sector, has been providing topnotch service to the market since 1997.

“Our target sectors are semiconductors, FPD (flat panel display), and the manufacturing equipment industries. We provide non-ferrous metal plates, aluminium and stainless steel parts, as well as high-precision milling processing to companies in Japan and parts of Southeast Asia,” shared Kei Ishizaka, the company’s president.

Our strategy is structured around three concepts: Quality, which refers to the top quality of our products and our high-precision cutting; speed, by which we commit to a quick and exact delivery date; and reasonably-priced services.

For its pioneering work in the industry, Shinx Corporation has revolutionized the manufacturing market in Japan by not only upping the quality of parts, but also by lowering overall costs of the machining process.

“Our strategy is structured around three concepts: Quality, which refers to the top quality of our products and our high-precision cutting; speed, by which we commit to a quick and exact delivery date; and reasonably-priced services,” Ishizaka pointed out.

Owing to its solid reputation in the industry, as well as to the continuously growing need for the services it provides, the company is poised to expand into the ASEAN region in the coming years, to first-tier manufacturers of semiconductor parts.

As Ishizaka says: “The importance of expanding into ASEAN will be even more marked, as companies improve their processing technologies.”

In preparation for this expansion, Shinx Corporation is set to open a new facility in Malaysia in June 2023. Ishizaka notes that the company chose Malaysia—particularly, Penang—for its initial expansion because of the growing number of semiconductor factories in the area.

“Malaysia is the most important project for us, right now, due to the increase of semiconductor factories there. But we also service a number of international, as well as local, processing factories.

Aside from Malaysia, we’ve exported our products to Vietnam and the Philippines.”
