Indonesia is set to mark 100 years of independence in 2045 and is embarking on a dynamic transition toward becoming a developed country. As progress is made, the country’s economic relationship with Japan remains as important as ever.
“There is a great deal of trust between Japan and Indonesia — the two countries share a long history and the friendship that has developed continues to bring our people closer together,” said Masahiko Kiya, Japan’s ambassador to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
Along with government initiatives, the private sector is taking steps to strengthen the Indonesia-Japan partnership.
Legal firms such as ATD Law, in association with Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, are assisting businesses as they navigate opportunities within the Indonesian economy.
As Japan-Indonesia trade and economic collaboration grow, consultancies such as Deliotte are facilitating more business transactions across a range of key industries.
