Inspired by those that dare to dream and believe, the Castle of Magical Dreams shines as a beacon of courage, hope, and possibility. Taking inspiration from 13 stories of Disney princesses and queens, the architectural design embraces their unique characteristics through the interpretation of color, icons, symbols, patterns, and cultural features.
Brand-new experiences await guests at the castle. Guests can meet their favorite princesses and queens at “The Royal Reception Hall,” with its regally appointed interiors that feature intricately carved details, tapestries, and small bronze statues depicting the beloved heroines who inspired the castle’s design. They can likewise visit “Enchanted Treasures,” the first-ever Castle of Magical Dreams Chow Tai Fook Jewelry store, where artisans from the popular jeweler Chow Tai Fook have been appointed as Royal Jewelers for all of the kingdom’s magnificent keepsakes and treasures.
Never in Disney history has an existing castle undergone a transformation as grand as this, and guests who have witnessed the change from a distance can now step into the iconic architecture and learn more about the magic behind-the-scenes.

A year after the big launch, the resort continues the excitement by rolling-out “Follow Your Dreams” — a first-of-its-kind, live outdoor musical party staged at the Castle of Magical Dreams. The 20-minute musical showcases an uplifting and inspiring message, encouraging guests to pursue their dreams. The show features state-of-the-art visual effects, high-energy music, and live singing, accompanied by a brand-new song and several rearranged songs, ranging from electronic dance music to K-pop.
Mickey Mouse and an array of Disney characters, including Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pocahontas, Moana, and Elsa, as well as Miguel from Coco and Nick and Judy from Zootopia, will take to the stage accompanied by singers and dancers, magnificent large-scale props, and effects such as fog jets, bubbles, and sparkulars. The show symbolizes a new chapter of the resort, set against the backdrop of its beautiful new castle.

The new show celebrates each stage of life through a series of six chapters, with projection images of approximately 150 characters from almost 40 Disney and Pixar stories. The show also illuminates the resort’s night sky with a stunning combination of multimedia elements, some of which are being used for the first time ever at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Looking ahead, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will be unveiling the park’s very first, one-of-its-kind Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse statue and gearing up for the launch of the world’s very first “World of Frozen” in the second half of 2023. Guests will be able to visit the Kingdom of Arendelle and be fully immersed in all its sights, sounds, cuisine, and traditions, as seen in the all-time favorite movies.
