The views of the city and of Victoria Harbour throughout the hotel were so entirely captivating, they left me breathless.

Owing to its location on the 116th floor, the views are stunning, making for the perfect backdrop to the excellent roster of light meals, tea service, and canapés, complemented by a curated selection of wines, champagne, and cocktails. Each evening, at cocktail hour, the pop of a cork signaled the start of a celebration, as I toasted to the extraordinary views and impeccable service, and just how lucky I was to be in the midst of it.

As I stepped into my luxuriously appointed guestroom, I was greeted by a spectacle that took my breath away. Large, wraparound picture windows offered panoramic views of Hong Kong Harbor, a mesmerizing vista that left me spellbound. Warm, welcoming touches like a charming balloon arrangement and a signed card added a whimsical element to the elegant surroundings. A strategically placed telescope allowed for closer views of the environs, inviting me to explore the cityscape in all its glory.
My suite could not have been more perfect: effortless elegance permeated every corner of the space, which was thoughtfully appointed for the utmost in comfort. With a soothing neutral color palette, highlighting the sophisticated contemporary-chic design of the room, it was easy to slip into total relaxation on the plush bed. Ensconced within the property, on the 102nd floor, the restaurant exuded an aura of uncluttered stylishness, perfectly complementing the sweeping skyline and harbor views. Tasteful décor decked the highly stylized space, in a deep yet muted earth-toned color scheme that exuded finesse and flair, pleasantly rounding off my dining experience. The lavishly expansive dining area housed a number of private dining spaces, as well. This restaurant is perfect for large and intimate groups, alike; making it the go-to for special celebrations or leisurely meals with loved ones, with Hong Kong’s discerning diners.
In my experience, Tin Lung Heen’s reputation as one of Hong Kong’s premier dining destinations is definitely well-deserved, surpassing all my expectations, with its prestigious Michelin stars evidencing its culinary prowess. Here, guests indulge in the finest Cantonese cuisine, whether savoring the delicate flavors of succulent dim sum or indulging in a sumptuous feast of Cantonese specialties. Each dish celebrates the rich culinary heritage of Cantonese cuisine, meticulously crafted to showcase the finest flavors and ingredients. For me, the dim sum selection was a highlight of the mouthwatering menu, with each bite-sized delight bursting with flavor. From the Steamed Shrimp Dumplings with Bamboo Shoots and Steamed Alaskan Crab Meat and Shrimp Dumplings Topped with Salmon Roe, to the Poached Shrimp Wonton with Fish Maw and Jinhua Ham, and so much more, each dish bore witness to the skill and artistry of the chefs.
With its exquisite cuisine, spectacular spaces, and second-to-none service, the restaurant is without a doubt the embodiment of the finest in dining at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong.

This routine, a standard practice whenever there’s a sauna in my hotel, left me feeling invigorated and ready to tackle an evening of exploration in the vibrant streets of Hong Kong. I was also prepared to face the demanding meetings and tight schedule the following day with renewed strength and vitality.
