Biomethanol is a highly efficient hydrogen carrier and Glocal Green is building a holistic ecosystem for green methanol based on its own concept: ‘Bio-e-methanol’.
“Our Bio-e-methanol – based on bio-waste – forms a unique energy- and cost-efficient climate-neutral concept for delivery of green hydrogen to the market,” says Dag Nikolai Ryste, CEO of Glocal Green AS.
“Our solutions are designed to serve shipping, aviation, transport and off-grid electricity.”
Together with many fantastic partners, Glocal Green is now preparing for the establishment of production facilities in Norway and Sweden in addition to other European countries.
The company’s rational climate-neutral concept involves a paradigm shift for deliveries of green energy to the market.
Biological and circular carbon from biowaste, through liquid and low-risk methanol, is the carrier of green hydrogen, with an unbeatable transition efficiency and price.
The concept, and methanol’s simple chemical composition, also enables, a much simpler system for recapturing and reuse (CCU). Use of this all-green methanol in an FC or ICE emits nothing but circular and climate neutral CO2. No soot, particles, SoX or NoX.
This enables an overall accumulation of green CO2, which in turn will contribute to the spread and increase of production and availability of all-green methanol as a replacement for the present fossil alternatives.
