Hitachi High-Tech (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. was established in 1972 as the first Hitachi High-Tech office in the ASEAN region, and we have been delivering services and solutions for over 50 years—building deep relationships and regional expertise.

As the RHQ, Hitachi High-Tech (Singapore) plays a vital role in supporting subsidiaries across ASEAN and India by providing centralized leadership, operational oversight, talent development and shared services that enhance efficiency and consistency across diverse markets.

Singapore is also making major investments in R&D, digitalization and AI through its Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2025 Plan. By leveraging Singapore’s connected and innovation-driven ecosystem, we are able to accelerate decision-making, foster collaboration and respond swiftly to market needs throughout the region.

Our product portfolio includes globally recognized systems such as metrology and inspection systems using electron beam and optical technology, as well as conductor etch systems, which are essential to semiconductor manufacturing.

With the semiconductor industry driving growth, particularly in markets such as India and Vietnam, what are your plans for Hitachi High-Tech (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. in 2025/2026?

With the semiconductor industry driving growth in emerging markets like India and Vietnam, Hitachi High-Tech (Singapore) is committed to expanding its presence and capabilities in these countries.

Across Southeast Asia, governments are actively investing in the semiconductor sector through policy initiatives, financial incentives and ecosystem development strategies—creating fertile ground for innovation, manufacturing and talent development.

We also actively participate in SEMICON Southeast Asia, one of the region’s leading industry platforms. One of our directors serves on the SEMI Advisory Board, contributing to the advancement of the regional semiconductor ecosystem.

Our goal is to support semiconductor manufacturers with cutting-edge technology and integrated solutions that enhance productivity, improve yields and enable technological breakthroughs.

In 2025/2026, our strategic priorities include:
