Japan and Poland: A successful partnership based on trade, technology and trust

20 years ago on May 1, 2004 Poland became a member of the European Union. As the country prepares to hold the presidency of the Council of the European Union at the beginning of 2025, Poland is strengthening its relationships with EU and international partners.

Japan’s economic ties to Poland are on the rise, with key industries such as legal services, food and beverage, technology and manufacturing bringing the two countries closer together.
