Innovative solutions in automation, robotics and vision system technologies are advancing global industry.
Poland’s high-quality education system has created a workforce strong in programming and mathematics and combined with Japan’s precision technologies, a strong tech-partnership is developing.
Raised in Poland, Juliusz Hirotomi, president and chief executive officer of Nexus Engineering Europe has a unique perspective on the Japan-Poland relationship.
“Having grown up in Poland, I benefit from an understanding of Japan and Poland and can see things from both a Japanese and a Polish point of view,” says Hirotomi.
Poland is a unique country. It has historically produced many brilliant individuals and its people have shown great resilience throughout the country’s challenging history.
“Geographically, Poland has had to adapt and build technologies collaboratively, fostering teamwork and adaptability among its people,” says Hirotomi.
Nexus Engineering Europe is leveraging its technologies with Japanese innovations and utilising existing market solutions to enhance its business.
Under agreement, the company successfully implemented the use of a Japanese robotics machine and integrated unique ideas to enhance its performance.
Polish original equipment manufacturing (OEM) capabilities are of the highest international standard. Tsukishima Kikai Co. Ltd of Japan recently transferred technology to Nexus Engineering Europe who re-engineered the company’s machines in Poland to meet European CE standards.
Enhancing production efficiency, Nexus Engineering Europe’s sophisticated detection-technology is currently being developed with partners in North America. It is also strengthening its niche offering in quality visual-inspection machines and robotic transfer systems.
“As a Polish company, we see that it is crucial for Poland to innovate and ensure the country competes internationally,” says Hirotomi.
“The key to our growth is not just about economic stability, but also about investing in our people and technology. Managing our company’s growth alongside the need for skilled workers is a delicate balance as it is essential for us to deliver on quality.”
By embracing technological innovation and strengthening its international partnerships, Poland is expected to see continued economic growth.
“The growth opportunities are substantial and with strategic investments and a focus on innovation, Poland will thrive,” says Hirotomi.
“We recognize the market is shifting and sustainability within our industries will play a crucial role in future developments. We will invest in our workforce and ensure we have the skills necessary to create growth opportunities for all of our partners.”
