Energy consumption in automotive paint finishing presents a practical challenge to achieving cleaner industrial production. Taikisha Deutschland GmbH focuses on industrial equipment and has chosen painting systems as the starting point for its business in Germany.

Taikisha Deutschland’s role includes introducing advanced European technologies to the group’s global operations. The Japanese group supplies air conditioning and manufacturing systems worldwide, giving any innovations identified in Europe the potential to be applied across its customer network. The subsidiary intends to “play a key role in deploying advanced systems globally that combine these innovations with renowned Japanese quality,” CEO and Managing Director Harun Tetik said.
“To begin with, we will strengthen our team and infrastructure in Germany to build strong relationships with European customers. By incorporating Japanese quality, we will establish a framework that allows customers to place orders with confidence.”

Taikisha’s interest in German engineering dates to its origins in 1913. Its predecessor, Kenzaisha, was affiliated with German machinery importer
L. Leybold Co. and introduced German heating equipment to Japan. Air conditioning and other industrial equipment remain central to the group’s contribution to economic development.

Environmental responsibility became part of Taikisha’s identity in 1973, when it adopted its current name, which is based on the Japanese word for atmosphere. Tetik said the change expressed its mission to “protect the atmosphere and pioneer the future by providing systems that address these issues,” referring to air pollution and global warming associated with industrial development.
Its response encompasses three priorities for equipment design and use. Taikisha is advancing energy-saving systems, equipment capable of tapping alternative energy sources, and systems compatible with new manufacturing methods. A 2035 carbon neutrality target forms part of the company’s 10-year plan.
The next task is earning European customers’ confidence through a stronger German organization.

“To begin with, we will strengthen our team and infrastructure in Germany to build strong relationships with European customers. By incorporating Japanese quality, we will establish a framework that allows customers to place orders with confidence,” Tetik said.
Recruitment and business relationships are part of the subsidiary’s plans to strengthen its team and infrastructure. Taikisha Deutschland welcomes inquiries and applications from individuals and companies interested in joining its business or contributing their capabilities, an invitation Tetik places in the context of the group’s presence in Europe, Japan and worldwide.
