Andaz Bali: the first Andaz in Indonesia and the first Andaz resort in Asia

Andaz Bali invites guests to experience the unique Indonesian island through the eyes of locals.

The beachfront resort has been conceived as a modern Balinese village, weaving together traditional and contemporary elements of the island.

A modern interpretation of a traditional Balinese village

Andaz Bali is located in Sanur, one of Bali’s original tourist destinations known for its old-world charm, beaches and spectacular sunrises. The 149-room beachfront resort offers five restaurants and three swimming pools as well as wellness facilities shared with the adjacent Hyatt Regency Bali.

Global in scale while local in perspective, the Andaz brand of luxury lifestyle hotels weaves together the sights, sounds and tastes of each property’s surroundings for a distinctively local experience.

Located in the heart of Sanur, Andaz Bali is in a charming seaside village, home to Bali’s first luxury hotels.

Andaz Bali is a thoughtful addition to the area – a modern interpretation of a traditional Balinese village, paying homage to local art and craftsmanship while offering the latest modern amenities.

Thoughtfully weaving traditional elements with contemporary touches

The resort is modelled after a modern Balinese village, thoughtfully weaving traditional elements with contemporary touches.

The rooms, suites and villas are spread in low-rise clusters named after cardinal directions in Balinese, which play a significant role in the Balinese Hindu religion.

Just like in Balinese traditional villages, the resort features a Village Square or alun-alun where entertainment and inspiring events will be held, allowing guests to mingle with locals, communities and creative thinkers.

Andaz Bali is designed in a way that guests can have a variety of activities within the village and experience different settings; hidden and revealed, tranquil and lively, traditional and modern.

Guests who seek solitude can retreat to the Dukuh area, a secluded village within a village, where ancient banyan trees and Garden Villas stand side by side.

Meanwhile, guests who prefer livelier scenes can enjoy the ocean-facing main pool area, just steps away from Fisherman’s Club beach bar.

Rooms and Villas with a contemporary Balinese style

Andaz Bali houses 149 rooms, including 18 Garden Villas and four Beach Villas. Starting at 50sq m (538 feet) all the rooms, suites and villas are designed in contemporary Balinese style, using locally sourced materials such as bamboo, andesite stone, marble, and teak wood. Each room comes with a private balcony overlooking the garden, ocean or lagoon.

For the ultimate indulgence, Beach Villa offers 396 sq m (4,262 sq ft) of space with two bedrooms, opulent living room, spacious outdoor entertaining area, swimming pool and direct beach access as well as private car access for VVIPs. Andaz Bali is further complemented with three swimming pools:

Santhi – a hidden pool underneath a giant tree for a most relaxing dip

Liang – an infinity beachfront pool

Alit – a children’s pool

A local, dynamic and fun dining culture

When it comes to dining, Andaz Bali is inspired by the locals’ dynamic and fun dining culture, offering five venues to choose from.

Fisherman’s Club is a modern take on Jimbaran seafood dining experience, offering fresh catch of the day in sophisticated beach club ambience. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner with a live DJ on the weekend.

The concept of borderless comes to live in Village Square, where diners can choose from multitude of cuisines, from Asian at Wok Wok, grills at Fire Fox, roasts at Blue Oven, and house-made treats in Deli & Bakery.

Guests are welcome to cross-order from the four restaurants and sit where they feel like for a truly ‘dine as locals do’ experience.

For social spaces, the resort offers guests barrier-free meeting and events experience with its four boutique-style Studios, interconnected to each other and facing the Village Square.

All Studios have daylight access, allowing guests to have a refreshing gathering.

For those who would like to take their events outdoor, Andaz Bali offers a wealth of choices from the beach, garden, Beach Villa, to intimate courtyards, ideal for dinners, team building, cocktails and product launches.
