Taiwan-Japan Relations Association: Promoting collaboration on key issues throughout East Asia

A message from Jia-chyuan Su, chairperson of Taiwan-Japan Relations Association, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of China:

Taiwan and Japan are close neighbors that share deep historical and cultural ties.

Amid the rapidly changing dynamics of East Asia in recent years, the abiding friendship between Taiwan and Japan has become more precious.

Looking ahead, Taiwan and Japan must jointly address key issues such as economic security, cybersecurity, the resilience of critical supply chains, public health, and China’s attempts to unilaterally change the international order.

We hope Taiwan and Japan will collaborate on these issues and together promote prosperity and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
