What legal solutions do you offer businesses?
We deliver integrated services spanning diverse practice areas specialising in intellectual property, family law, business law, criminal and civil litigations. Our strategic methodology guarantees steadfast support throughout every phase of our clients’ journey.
We have a strong reputation as a trusted law firm and in terms of our business, we actively protect and promote our clients. We are actively engaging with more international clients as they realise the economic potential Indonesia offers small, medium and large businesses.
Is Indonesia able to build on its strengths as a growing economy?
As a firm we have a strong bond with Indonesia – we want to see the country develop and thrive. I see the future of Indonesia as being in our hands and education will be the key to unlocking the country’s full potential. Indonesia has the largest population of any democratic country in the world and the growth potential for the country’s economy is enormous. The Indonesian people are contributing to the country’s future and we will play our part through the services and solutions we provide to our clients.
The young people are the future of the country and we have a growing middle class. The gap between rich and poor is slowly closing and innovation and entrepreneurship will drive the economic growth the country is seeking before 2045 when Indonesia aims to become a developed nation.
The Indonesian economy stands as a testament to the country’s ability to attract foreign investment and reflects the Indonesian dream to grow, thrive and prosper.
Geographically, we are in a strategic location with the country situated close to key shipping lanes within Southeast Asia. We continue to offer new and existing client’s strong legal advice and we support the steps being taken to strengthen the Indonesian economy.
How would you describe the legal sector in Indonesia?
The legal environment is relatively challenging and there is a choice of firms for investors to work with. We protect and assist our clients during their initial investments and as they continue to do business in Indonesia. We love our country and we want to see our clients succeed here for the betterment of the country. We continue to work closely with more firms who recognise the potential of the country.
How are you positioning the firm on the international stage?
We have worked with many international clients and we have a strong global reputation. We are always on the lookout for more international clients and already represent some Japanese companies and other regional clients here in Indonesia.
They come to us and ask advice on how to get the job done. In terms of their legal standing, we are always happy to partner with clients from abroad to help them navigate the Indonesian market.
Are you seeing more activity from Japanese clients in Indonesia?
I have recently received many cases from various Japanese clients, and I am happy to assist them to support their business in Indonesia.
What advice do you have for those looking at Indonesia as a new market for them?
Doing business in Indonesia often requires the right support and we are able to provide this. As an economy, things are very good here and the country is on the right track.
People across Indonesian society are actively participating in the development of the country, education is getting better and as a nation, we are ready to take on the challenges of the future as we grow. Patience is key and we are open to working hand in hand with investors and businesses who want to explore the market here.
Hard work and growth will drive Indonesia forward. Sixty percent of the country’s GDP comprises small and medium size companies so the economy is founded on innovative business-minded people and families.
What final message would you like to share with our readers?
We will continue to provide strong legal services and serve our clients. We strive to make our clients happy and in line with this we want to also serve our country and see the Indonesian people prosper and the economy grow.
