Scandic Holmenkollen Park has reopened its doors following extensive renovations and remodelling. The distinctive history and iconic architecture have been meticulously maintained and complemented with modern designs and solutions.

One of Oslo’s and Norway’s most unique hotels, Scandic Holmenkollen Park Hotel rises 350 metres above sea level, with fantastic views of Oslo and Nordmarka forest.

The hotel has a total of 376 guest rooms including 27 exclusive rooms and suites in the historic Dragebygget style – the architectural masterpiece in the Norwegian ‘dragon style’ that was particularly popular between 1880 and 1910.

The hotel has a new gorgeous spa which includes a pool, a large, 1,100 sqm gym and a completely unique food and drink offering.

Meetings and events

Scandic Holmenkollen Park Hotel is ideal for all types of meetings and events. Meeting facilities include 7 flexible conference rooms and a capacity for up to 800 participants, in addition to banquets for up to 500 guests. Total meeting capacity is 1,200 people.

‘On top of Oslo’

A visit to Scandic Holmenkollen Park will be a unique experience, whether as a conference guest or on holiday.

The hotel is easily accessible by metro and is perfectly located on top of Oslo, in near proximity to the Holmenkollen National Ski Arena.

From here guests can enjoy nature, go for a hike or just enjoy the breath-taking view in comfortable surroundings.

There are also great expectations attached to the renovation of Dragebygget – the building will contain 27 unique rooms and suites and the new wine cellar.

Holmenkollen Park Bistro & Bar

In the new restaurant ‘Bistro & Bar’ guests will be able to enjoy lunch, drinks and à la carte menu. Holmenkollen Park Bistro & Bar will base its offering on Norwegian and Nordic produce, adding creative and surprising touches to traditional, well-known dishes.

Scandic Holmenkollen Park has reopened its doors following extensive renovations and remodelling.

Lunch guests will, among other things, be able to choose from a wide selection of tasteful waffles with toppings and combinations never experienced before.

In Norway, waffles are usually served with jam or butter and brown cheese but waffles can be so much more. Guests can try tempura fried waffle sticks with a spicy dip or a French toast waffle with sugar, cinnamon and vanilla ice cream.
