As Japanese companies continue expanding their production and manufacturing networks across ASEAN and South Asia, demand for high-quality industrial and logistics infrastructure is rising.

Daiwa House Industry Co. Ltd. is positioning itself at the center of this growth, developing business-use facilities designed to support companies entering and scaling across the region.
Building on its experience in Japan, where the Group has developed
365 locations nationwide, with a total combined floor area of approximately 15.14 million square meters as of the end of March 2026, Daiwa House provides an integrated approach spanning development, construction and leasing.
Its ‘D Project’ and ‘DPL’ brands offer logistics facilities tailored to diverse operational requirements, including temperature-controlled environments and business continuity planning (BCP) capabilities.
Malaysia has emerged as an important pillar of Daiwa House’s ASEAN strategy and Daiwa House Malaysia Logistic Sdn Bhd is driving the business.
Masatoshi Sarashina, Senior Executive Officer and Head of General Construction Division, Business Solutions Headquarters, said:
“In Southeast Asia’s fast moving logistics landscape, speed and reliability are everything and Malaysia is located in the heart of ASEAN, near one of the world’s busiest trade routes. Malaysia’s skilled workforce, investor-friendly policies and institutional support are also key factors behind the company’s success.”

“When our partner companies began exploring opportunities in ASEAN, we anticipated that Malaysia would be their destination of choice due to its strategic location so we focused our efforts on developing solutions there. In Southeast Asia’s fast moving logistics landscape, speed and reliability are everything and Malaysia is located in the heart of ASEAN, near one of the world’s busiest trade routes. Malaysia’s skilled workforce, investor-friendly policies and institutional support are also key factors behind the company’s success.”

Since founding Daiwa House Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in 2015 and Daiwa House Malaysia Logistic Sdn. Bhd. in 2018, the company has been dedicated to the development and warehouse leasing sectors in Selangor State.
The journey has yielded three successfully completed projects, all operating at near-full occupancy. Today, big steps forward are being taken, with the company having secured new land to drive upcoming development projects.
Daiwa House is committed to building logistics infrastructure for companies seeking greater connectivity across Southeast Asia. As Sarashina explains, “For them, Malaysia isn’t just a location, it’s a launchpad.”
Daiwa House aims to do more than develop properties. Its regional strategy is focused on creating infrastructure that supports global supply chains, enables corporate expansion and contributes to the continued growth of Asia’s rapidly developing markets.
