From bumpers and instrument panels to complex assemblies for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles, Machino Plastics Ltd. has supported India’s automotive industry since 1986.
The company operates seven facilities across three regions and maintains a four-decade relationship with Suzuki Motor Corp. and Maruti Suzuki.

Its manufacturing network comprises five injection-molding plants and two mold-manufacturing units across New Delhi, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. More than 125 injection-molding machines range from 100 to 3,150 metric tons in clamping force, while in-house tool rooms build molds weighing up to 35 tons.
Its components also reach Suzuki and other automobile manufacturers in international markets. “An Indian auto component supplier exporting to the Japanese supply chain is, to my mind, the truest measure of how far we have come,” Aditya Jindal, chairman and managing director, said.
Japan has shaped the company’s development from the beginning. Suzuki Motor Corp. owns 15.35% of Machino Plastics and holds a board seat, while Maruti Suzuki remains its principal customer and a long-standing stakeholder. Today Machino caters to many automobile companies across the industry spectrum.
“Our Japanese partners taught us kaizen; forty years on, continuous improvement is simply how Machino thinks,” Jindal said.
Machino Plastics is expanding its engineering role through its product development facility. It takes a part from style feasibility, 3D CAD and mould-flow simulation through tool making, precision moulding, vibration and ultrasonic welding, in mold decoration, robotized painting and JIT assembly, encompassing end-to-end services under one roof.

Machino Plastics offers reverse engineering and prototyping support. For an OEM, that means fewer supplier interfaces, a single point of accountability, and a faster path from design freeze to fitment-ready system.
In-house tool rooms in Manesar and Gujarat, equipped with 62 machines, including 5-axis centres, EDM and deep-hole drilling, build moulds up to 35 tonnes for presses up to 3,150 tonnes. Manufacturing the tool in-house means Machino owns the timeline and the quality: an OEM is not left waiting on a third-party toolmaker when a programme has to move.
Bringing in-house painting removes the last external hand-off. For customers, that translates into shorter lead times, tighter colour and quality control, lower logistics and coordination cost, and a supply chain de-risked to a single trusted partner finished, painted parts delivered complete.
The company is adopting all-electric molding machines, Japanese robotic handling systems, mold-flow simulation, connected machining and AI-assisted manufacturing as product cycles shorten and customers’ technical requirements grow more demanding.
“The best way to celebrate 40 years is to give our partners every reason to look forward to the next 40,” Jindal said.

Machino manufactures where its customers manufacture, backs every plant with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and entering its fifth decade the company is now moving from build-to-print toward co-engineering value engineering, lightweighting and EV-ready components through product-development center and draws on the complementary strengths of Indian industrial scale and Japanese manufacturing precision for an increasingly demanding global automotive industry.

Looking ahead, Machino is open to joint-venture and technology partnerships with Japanese companies in areas that can strengthen the next generation of automotive components, including sustainable and recycled materials, lightweight composites, advanced surface and painting technologies, smart automation and EV-related applications.
By combining Japanese process and product expertise with Machino’s established engineering, tooling and multi-location manufacturing base in India, such partnerships could accelerate localization, shorten industrialization timelines and give global customers access to new technologies at competitive scale.
