Founder, President and CEO Younes Elhimdy brings three decades of entre\u00adpreneurial experience to the helm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDisty Technologies is my third cre\u00adation. Before that, I built two companies in the IT sector and sold them to private equity funds,\u201d he said. With investor backing, he built Disty for growth. \u201cI launched the company from scratch in 2012 with a private equity fund. Ten years later, we completed an initial public offering on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morocco\u2019s market has offered con\u00adsistent building blocks for execution: stable financing through banks and private equity partners, reliable access to foreign currency for supplier pay\u00adments and straightforward adminis\u00adtration that allows plans to move from paper to practice. \u201cThe financial and economic ecosystem here lets you create and grow businesses,\u201d Elhimdy explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disty has paired that base with a strong bench of young, talented indi\u00adviduals who now serve as pillars of the company. With steady, predictable IT demand, this team enables the compa\u00adny\u2019s channel model and broad portfolio across laptops, workstations, enterprise printing, networking and storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company is aligning with the areas where demand is heading. Cloud-first architectures are reshaping soft\u00adware decisions, and performance needs are pushing hardware toward higher capacity and readiness for artificial intelligence. Disty has invested in new platforms and skills, digitalized customer and supplier interactions and now gen\u00aderates more than 30% of sales through an online platform introduced in 2020, improving speed and transparency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As vendors refresh offers and go-to-market strategies, the company adjusts its value proposition and trains teams for new roles, supported by long-term partnerships with global IT brands, in\u00adcluding Canon from Japan. \u201cChange is everywhere in the IT sector, and we have to adapt at every step,\u201d Elhimdy said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trajectory continues with each entry into new countries and markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
