For several decades, Japan has maintained strong and steadily growing economic relations with Morocco. Early diplomatic recognition, the conclusion of bilateral investment agreements and tax conventions, as well as the active cooperation of JICA and JBIC, have laid the foundations for a serious and well-structured partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bilateral trade, still modest in volume, is gradually gaining momentum: Japanese exports to Morocco are focused on machinery, transport equipment, and automobiles, while Moroccan exports primarily fisheries and agri-food products\u2014are gaining greater visibility in the Japanese market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The memorandums signed in 2024 to encourage investment illustrate the shared determination to deepen this relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
