With a heavy emphasis on indig\u00adenous Filipino weaving traditions, this intentional creative choice speaks to the greater story of the interconnected\u00adness of diverse cultures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bigger and better than ever, the Phil\u00adippine Pavilion will feature monumental iterations to make it truly memorable. With their first ever interactive fa\u00e7ade at the Expo as well as 212 handwoven textiles made by the largest-ever collab\u00adoration of Filipino weavers, the Pavilion is testament to the country\u2019s steadfast commitment to innovation and improve\u00adment. Textile-by-textile, these weaves tie together the indelible narratives of every community as part of the nation\u2019s traditions, history, and artistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be no stone left unturned at the Philippine Pavilion \u2013\u2013 showcasing the best of the country\u2019s best, from its natural beauty, to its vibrant tourist spots, and rich culture. Tourism as we know it holds greater gravitas than ever before. One priority of the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) is bolstering the agenda of Commu\u00adnity-Based Tourism (CBT). Aside from visitors feeling more enriched from the authenticity of their travels, local communities will directly benefit and feel uplifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, central to the theme of the Philippine Pavilion is sustainability. \u201cIndig\u00adenous renewable materials will be utilized in its construction, reflecting the country\u2019s dedication to eco-friendly practices.
