Beginning a Journey in Hospitality<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pinky\u2019s introduction to the hospitality industry began over two decades ago, shortly after receiving her undergraduate degree. Starting her career in a hospitality management training program at a prestigious hotel in Hong Kong, she spent years honing her skills in various departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the next eleven years, she grew with the company, gaining invaluable experience in operations, sales and management. Her journey then took her to Macau, where she further advanced her career before taking a brief hiatus to focus on personal growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, Pinky joined Travelodge Hotels Asia as the first General Manager of its inaugural hotel in Hong Kong, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter in her career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBefore the pandemic, our hotels were continually expanding however, in 2020, we faced significant setbacks, with no openings,\u201d says Pinky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs travel resumed, we noted a remarkable recovery, with the company not only returning to pre-pandemic levels, but surpassing them in some of our key regions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
