JETRO Bangkok\u2019s mission is to “connect” Japanese companies with Thai companies as well as Thai government, government agencies and educational institutions. While this mission has not changed since 70 years ago when JETRO Bangkok was established in 1954, we are currently focusing more on supporting Japanese companies, including startups, to expand into Thailand in fields such as decarbonization, manufacturing DX and healthcare, which can contribute to the economic growth and solving social issues in Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, EXPOs have become more important as business events, and the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai is expected to attract a large number of business people from overseas. JETRO Bangkok will work in cooperation with JETRO Osaka, which serves as the secretariat of the Osaka One-Stop Business Service Desk, and other domestic offices of JETRO to encourage as many business missions as possible consisting of government officials and business people from Thailand to visit Kansai and Japan during the EXPO, in order to connect Japan and Thailand and provide new business opportunities, thereby to contribute to the economic growth in both countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
