Ruddyard<\/strong>: Indonesia and Japan have a long history of collaboration, and this partnership has only strengthened over the years. In 2023, we elevated our relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, which reflects our commitment to deeper economic and strategic cooperation. Japan has played a crucial role in Indonesia\u2019s industrialization, technology transfer, and human capital development. This partnership continues to evolve, particularly in key areas such as sustainability, energy transition, and digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indonesia aims to become a high-income country by 2045. What role does Japan play in achieving this vision?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our Golden Indonesia 2045 vision is built on sustainable economic growth, innovation, and industrial competitiveness. Japan remains one of our key partners in infrastructure development, clean energy, and smart city projects. We are advancing energy transition, industrial down streaming, circular economy, and digital transformation to strengthen Indonesia\u2019s competitiveness in the global economy. Japan\u2019s expertise and investments in these areas contribute significantly to our long-term goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainability has become a major focus for both Indonesia and Japan. What collaborative efforts are currently underway?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Indonesia is committed to reducing emissions and promoting renewable energy, and Japan is a vital partner in these efforts. Japan\u2019s support for Indonesia\u2019s carbon market and energy transition is an essential step toward achieving a zero-emission future. We are working together on geothermal energy projects, green financing, and carbon credit initiatives to ensure a sustainable and resilient economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
