Danish Energy Export was established in 2024 as an extended part of the cooperation between Green Power Denmark (former Wind Denmark) and the Danish Export Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00f8ren Rasmussen, managing director of Danish Energy Export<\/a><\/strong> spoke with Bridges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bridges<\/strong>: What achievements would you like to highlight from Danish Energy Export?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Rasmussen<\/strong>: Danish Energy Export has been operating for over ten years. In our early years, we primarily focused on wind energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, we expanded our scope to include all energy technologies. Our current focus areas now include wind, hydrogen, CCS, storage, batteries, bioenergy, and other energy sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our main objective is to provide Danish energy companies with a strong platform to showcase their expertise, whether at trade fairs or business meetings. We organize 30 export drives annually, engaging more than 700 stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What developments can we expect from the Danish energy industry in 2025?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, Danish Energy Export will participate in 29 international events across 17 different countries, including Japan, where we annually attend Wind Expo in Tokyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be represented in the wind, bioenergy, storage\/batteries, hydrogen\/PTX, and CCUS sectors. Where CCUS and Batteries will be new areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of our major initiatives this year is the launch of the project \u201cNavigating Denmark\u2019s Wind Energy Landscape.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of this project, we will organize five delegation tours across Denmark\u2019s energy sector in the lead-up to the WindEurope conference in April, which will be held in Copenhagen in 2025. These tours will provide foreign visitors with valuable insights and updates on the latest developments in the Danish energy industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
