In January 2024, holding company; Toyo Ink SC Holdings Co. Ltd. intends to rebrand and change its name to \u2018artience\u2019, a combination of \u2018art and science\u2019. Toyo Ink Philippines<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Philippines has recorded annual GDP growth over five percent for the past decade, except for 2020. The country has a population of 120 million and its average population age of 24 is comparable with the average age of Japan\u2019s population back in 1960. Established in 1989, Toyo Ink Philippines will celebrate its 35th anniversary next year. The company is also addressing issues faced by the 200 million people with color blindness. Caused by an abnormality in the X chromosome, colorblindness is often found in males who have only one X chromosome: about five to ten percent are said to be color blind and see colors slightly differently. This leads to sometimes having difficulty recognizing safety labels, precautions and packaging. Lioatlas\u00ae, a brand related to color management advocated by Toyo Ink Group, is a technology that incorporates \u2018artience\u2019 and together with related partners, Toyo Ink Philippines is bringing such innovations to the Philippines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
