Nordseth emphasized the global outreach of Danish maritime compa\u00adnies, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s a very strong char\u00adacteristic of Danish maritime compa\u00adnies that they have a global outreach and partner up with companies every\u00adwhere. They are rooted in Denmark but consider themselves as contribut\u00ading to the local society wherever they are.\u201d This approach to collaboration and innovation, he says, has been a key factor in the industry\u2019s success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also noted that sustainability is a major driver for development and innovation in the industry. \u201cThe green agenda is a strong driver for development and innovation, but we also have the whole digital agenda,\u201d Nordseth said. \u201cThe maritime do\u00admain has been slow in embracing and adapting digital solutions, but the 2020s will be the digital decade for the maritime domain. Even small\u00ader Danish companies are coming up with new systems that we have never seen in the maritime domain before.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
