There are an increasing number of hurdles to doing business, such as obtaining work visas, and it has become clear that some tasks can be remotely carried out from Japan through advancements in communication technologies. Amidst these current travel difficulties, JCCI is also moving its various activities online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Online business-matching activities and business negotiations with sales channels of distribution companies in Singapore have been successful. We have also seen an increase in the number of applications from Japanese business companies looking to do business in Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As various restrictions continue, we recognize that setting up new business opportunities will be the role of JCCI in future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to topics related to work visas and various laws and regulations, we are also seeing a great deal of interest during our regular webinars with regard to areas which will lead to the next economic steps forward. These include Artificial Intelligence, the Circular Economy and 5G innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
